Paolo Barilla is a former Italian racing driver and businessman. He is one of the heirs to the Barilla Group, a world-leading company in the pasta and bakery product sectors. Paolo Barilla was born on April 20, 1961, in Milan, Italy. He is the youngest of the three Barilla brothers, who are all involved in the family business.

Paolo Barilla spent his early years in Parma, Italy, where the Barilla Group was founded. He attended the University of Parma, where he studied Business and Economics. His education was instrumental in preparing him for his future role in the family business.

Racing Career[edit | edit source]

Paolo Barilla's passion for racing began at a young age. He started his racing career in karting and quickly moved up to more competitive racing series. In 1985, he won the Le Mans 24 Hours race, driving a Porsche 956. He also competed in Formula One for the Minardi team from 1989 to 1990.

Business Career[edit | edit source]

After retiring from racing, Paolo Barilla focused on his role in the family business. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Barilla Group. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its global presence and continues to be a leader in the food industry.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Paolo Barilla is married and has two children. He is an avid collector of vintage cars and continues to be involved in the world of motorsport.
