Penny Bernard Schaber

Penny Bernard Schaber is an American politician and former member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. She represented the 57th Assembly District from 2009 to 2015. Schaber is a member of the Democratic Party.

Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Penny Bernard Schaber was born in Appleton, Wisconsin. She attended Appleton East High School and later graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a degree in Physical Therapy. She also holds a master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.

Career[edit | edit source]

Before entering politics, Schaber worked as a physical therapist. She was actively involved in community service and various local organizations.

Wisconsin State Assembly[edit | edit source]

Schaber was first elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2008, representing the 57th Assembly District. During her tenure, she served on several committees, including the Health Committee, the Natural Resources Committee, and the Aging and Long-Term Care Committee. Schaber was known for her advocacy on healthcare issues, environmental protection, and senior citizen services.
