Penticton Regional Hospital
Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is a medical facility located in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. It is part of the Interior Health authority and provides health services to residents in the South Okanagan region.

The Penticton Regional Hospital was established in 1953. Over the years, it has undergone several expansions and renovations to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community. The most recent expansion, completed in 2019, included a new patient care tower and upgrades to the existing facility.
Services[edit | edit source]
PRH offers a wide range of medical services, including emergency, surgery, maternity care, outpatient care, and diagnostic services. The hospital also has a cancer care center that provides chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Facilities[edit | edit source]
The hospital has 129 acute care beds and a 24-hour emergency department. The new patient care tower houses the ambulatory care department, surgical services, and 84 private single-patient rooms. The tower also features a rooftop helipad for air ambulance services.

PRH employs over 1,000 staff members, including physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and support staff. The hospital also has a team of dedicated volunteers who assist with various tasks and services.

The Penticton Regional Hospital has a strong connection with the local community. The Penticton Hospital Foundation raises funds to support the hospital's services and facilities. The hospital also partners with local schools and organizations to promote health education and awareness.
