The Pirinsko Brewery was established in 1969. The first bottle of Pirinsko Pivo was produced in 1971. Since then, the brand has grown in popularity and is now one of the most consumed beers in Bulgaria.

Pirinsko Pivo is brewed using traditional methods. The main ingredients are malted barley, hops, yeast, and water from the Pirin Mountains. The beer is fermented for a period of time before it is filtered and bottled.
