- Pittsboro, Indiana is a town located in Middle Township, Hendricks County, Indiana, United States. The town is part of the Indianapolis metropolitan area and has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1834. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population of Pittsboro was 2,928.

- Pittsboro was platted in 1834 by two brothers, John and William Miller. The town was named after Pittsborough, North Carolina, where the Miller brothers' father had fought during the American Revolutionary War.

- Pittsboro is located at 39°53′13″N 86°27′49″W. According to the 2010 United States Census, the town has a total area of 1.42 square miles, all land.
