History[edit | edit source]

Plamil Foods was originally known as the 'Plantmilk Society' when it was founded in 1964. The society later changed its name to 'Plantmilk Ltd.' and eventually to 'Plamil Foods'.

The company began producing soya milk in 1965, which was initially sold in powdered form to be mixed with water. Over the years, Plamil Foods expanded its product range to include other vegan and organic foods, such as chocolate, mayonnaise, and egg-free products.
