Prestige Consumer Healthcare was originally established as a private company in 1996. In 2005, it became a public company and was listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol PBH. The company has grown through a series of acquisitions, including the purchase of Blacksmith Brands Holdings, Inc. in 2010, Insight Pharmaceuticals in 2014, and DenTek Holdings, Inc. in 2016.
