Princess Henriette Adelaide of Savoy (6 November 1636 – 13 June 1676) was a member of the House of Savoy by birth and became the Electress of Bavaria by marriage to Ferdinand Maria, Elector of Bavaria. She was born in Turin, Duchy of Savoy, and passed away in Munich, Electorate of Bavaria.

Henriette Adelaide was born on 6 November 1636 in Turin, the capital of the Duchy of Savoy. She was the daughter of Victor Amadeus I, Duke of Savoy and Christine Marie of France.
Marriage and Family[edit | edit source]
Henriette Adelaide married Ferdinand Maria, Elector of Bavaria in 1650. The couple had several children together.
Legacy[edit | edit source]
Princess Henriette Adelaide of Savoy is remembered for her contributions to the cultural and artistic development of Bavaria during her time as Electress.
