Prunus laxinervis is a species of Prunus in the family Rosaceae. It is native to China, specifically the provinces of Gansu, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hubei, Hunan, Shaanxi, Sichuan, and Yunnan.

Prunus laxinervis is a deciduous tree that grows to a height of 10-15m. The leaves are alternate, simple, and ovate-lanceolate. The flowers are white and bloom in early spring.

Habitat[edit | edit source]

Prunus laxinervis prefers to grow in mixed forests, forest margins, and stream sides at elevations of 800-2500m.

Uses[edit | edit source]

The fruit of Prunus laxinervis is edible and can be used in traditional Chinese medicine.
