Pulaski County is a county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 33,800. Its county seat is Pulaski. Pulaski County is part of the Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford, VA Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Pulaski County was formed on March 30, 1839, from parts of Montgomery and Wythe counties. It was named for Kazimierz Pułaski, a Polish nobleman who fought for the United States in the American Revolutionary War.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 330 square miles (850 km²), of which 320 square miles (830 km²) is land and 10 square miles (26 km²) (3.1%) is water. The county is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains and is part of the New River Valley.

As of the census of 2020, there were 33,800 people, 14,000 households, and 9,200 families residing in the county. The population density was 105 people per square mile (41/km²). There were 15,500 housing units at an average density of 48 per square mile (19/km²).

The economy of Pulaski County is diverse, with manufacturing, agriculture, and service industries playing significant roles. The county is home to several industrial parks and has a strong presence in the automotive and aerospace sectors.
