Ralph Renick was an American television news anchor and executive. He was born on December 21, 1928, in Miami, Florida. Renick is best known for his long and distinguished career at WTVJ, a television station in Miami.

Renick attended University of Miami where he studied journalism. He graduated with a degree in journalism in the early 1950s.
Career[edit | edit source]
Renick began his career in broadcasting at WTVJ in the 1950s. He quickly rose through the ranks and became the station's news director in 1957. Renick's tenure at WTVJ was marked by his commitment to quality journalism and community service.
During his time at WTVJ, Renick covered many important events, including Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and the Miami Riots in 1980. He was known for his calm and authoritative presence on air.
Renick retired from WTVJ in 1985 but continued to be involved in journalism and community affairs. He passed away on July 14, 1991, leaving behind a legacy of excellence in broadcasting.
