- Red Bay is a city located in Franklin County, Alabama, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 3,158. The city was incorporated in 1907 and named after its location near a large stand of redbud trees.

- Red Bay is located in northwestern Alabama, near the Mississippi border. It is part of the Florence-Muscle Shoals Metropolitan Statistical Area, also known as "The Shoals".
History[edit | edit source]
- Red Bay was originally known as "Vinson's Crossroads". The city was incorporated in 1907, and the name was changed to Red Bay, after a stand of redbud trees that could be seen from the bay of the Tennessee River.
