The Renal Support Network (RSN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support and education to individuals affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD) and their families. Founded in 1993 by Lori Hartwell, a kidney disease survivor, RSN aims to empower people with kidney disease to live fulfilling lives despite their health challenges.

The mission of the Renal Support Network is to help patients develop their personal coping skills, special talents, and employability by educating and empowering them to take control of the course and management of the disease. Lori Hartwell, the founder of RSN, serves as the president of the organization. She is a prominent advocate for kidney patients and has been living with kidney disease since childhood. Her personal experiences have shaped the mission and programs of RSN.
