Renward Wells

Renward Wells began his political career as a member of the Progressive Liberal Party (PLP). He was first elected to the House of Assembly of the Bahamas in the general elections. During his tenure with the PLP, he served in various roles, including as the Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Works and Urban Development.
Switch to Free National Movement[edit | edit source]
In 2015, Renward Wells switched allegiance to the Free National Movement (FNM). His move was seen as a significant shift in the Bahamian political landscape. Following the FNM's victory in the 2017 general elections, Wells was appointed as the Minister of Agriculture and Marine Resources. He later served as the Minister of Transport and Local Government.
