Ringnes is a brewery established in 1876 by brothers Amund Ringnes, Elle Ringnes and Axel Ringnes in Oslo, Norway. It is currently owned by the Carlsberg Group.

Ringnes was founded in 1876 by the Ringnes brothers. The brewery's first location was at Grunerlokka, a district in Oslo. In 1897, Ringnes began exporting beer to the United Kingdom and Germany.

Products[edit | edit source]

Ringnes produces a variety of beers, including Pilsner, Lager, and Ale. The brewery also produces non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks and mineral water.

Ownership[edit | edit source]

In 2004, Ringnes was acquired by the Carlsberg Group, a Danish brewing company. Since then, Ringnes has continued to operate as a subsidiary of Carlsberg.
