- Rockwood, Michigan is a city located in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is part of the Detroit metropolitan area and has a population of approximately 3,289 as of the 2010 census. The city covers an area of 1.39 square miles, of which 1.34 square miles is land and 0.05 square miles is water.

- Rockwood was first settled in 1865 and was incorporated as a city in 1967. The city was named after a rocky ridge, which was a notable landmark for travelers in the area.
