Roll'd
Roll'd is an Australian fast food chain specializing in Vietnamese cuisine. The company was founded in 2012 by Bao Hoang, along with his cousins, Ray Esquieres and Tin Ly. Roll'd has grown rapidly since its inception, expanding to numerous locations across Australia.
History[edit | edit source]
Roll'd was established in 2012 in Melbourne, Victoria. The founders aimed to bring authentic Vietnamese street food to the Australian market, focusing on fresh ingredients and traditional recipes. The first store opened in the Melbourne Central shopping center, and the brand quickly gained popularity for its unique offerings and fast service.
Menu[edit | edit source]
The menu at Roll'd features a variety of Vietnamese dishes, including:
- Pho - A traditional Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of broth, rice noodles, herbs, and meat, usually beef or chicken.
- Banh mi - A Vietnamese sandwich that typically includes a combination of meats, vegetables, and condiments served in a baguette.
- Rice paper rolls - Fresh rolls made with rice paper, filled with ingredients such as shrimp, pork, vegetables, and herbs.
- Vermicelli bowls - A dish consisting of vermicelli noodles, grilled meats, fresh vegetables, and herbs, often served with a side of nuoc cham sauce.
Expansion[edit | edit source]
Since its founding, Roll'd has expanded to over 70 locations across Australia. The company has also explored international markets, with plans to open stores in other countries. Roll'd's success is attributed to its commitment to quality, consistency, and the ability to adapt traditional Vietnamese recipes to suit the fast food format.
Corporate Social Responsibility[edit | edit source]
Roll'd is involved in various community initiatives and charitable activities. The company supports local farmers by sourcing fresh ingredients locally whenever possible. Additionally, Roll'd has partnered with several organizations to promote healthy eating and support underprivileged communities.
