Rouge Valley Health System
Rouge Valley Health System (RVHS) was a comprehensive health care system that served the eastern parts of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and the western parts of Durham Region. The system comprised several facilities, most notably the Rouge Valley Centenary, located in the Scarborough district of Toronto, and the Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering, located in Durham Region. RVHS was known for its wide range of services, including emergency care, maternity services, pediatrics, mental health services, and cardiac care. In 2016, RVHS merged with The Scarborough Hospital to form the Scarborough Health Network, marking the end of the Rouge Valley Health System as a distinct entity.
