SB-334867
SB-334867 is a drug that is used in scientific research. It is an antagonist for the Orexin receptor (also known as hypocretin receptor), specifically the OX1 subtype. SB-334867 was the first non-peptide antagonist developed for this receptor. It has been found to reduce self-administration of alcohol in rats.
Pharmacology[edit | edit source]

Uses[edit | edit source]
SB-334867 is used in scientific research to investigate the role of the orexin system in various processes. It has been used in studies on feeding behavior, sleep-wake cycle, drug addiction, and stress.
Side Effects[edit | edit source]
