Salpingopharyngeus is a skeletal muscle that originates at cartilage of the Eustachian tube Inserts to posterior fasciculus of the pharyngopalatinus muscle, and is supplied by (artery, and nerve), and its actions include:vagus nerve and cranial accessory nerve raise the nasopharynx. inferior part originates at cricoid and thyroid cartilage Inserts to pharyngeal raphe, and is supplied by (artery, nerve) and actions include pharyngeal branches of ascending pharyngeal artery external laryngeal branch of the vagus Swallowing middle part originates at hyoid bone Inserts to pharyngeal raphe, and is supplied by (artery, and nerve), and its actions include:vagus nerve Swallowing superior part originates at medial pterygoid plate, pterygomandibular raphé, alveolar process Inserts to pharyngeal raphe, pharyngeal tubercle, and is supplied by (artery, and nerve), and its actions include:vagus nerve Swallowing
