Sara Groenewegen (born April 12, 1995) is a Canadian softball player. She is known for her exceptional skills as a pitcher and has represented Canada in various international competitions, including the Olympic Games and the Pan American Games.

Sara Groenewegen was born in Surrey, British Columbia. She began playing softball at a young age and quickly developed a passion for the sport. Groenewegen attended the University of Minnesota, where she played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers softball team. During her college career, she earned numerous accolades and set several records.

At the University of Minnesota, Groenewegen was a standout player for the Minnesota Golden Gophers softball team. She was a three-time All-American and received multiple Big Ten Conference honors. Groenewegen's impressive performance on the field helped lead her team to several successful seasons and NCAA tournament appearances.

Groenewegen has been a key player for the Canada women's national softball team.
