Sauza Tequila
Sauza Tequila is a brand of tequila produced in Mexico. It is one of the oldest and most well-known tequila brands in the world. The brand was founded in 1873 by Don Cenobio Sauza in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, which is located in the state of Jalisco.
History[edit | edit source]
The history of Sauza Tequila dates back to 1873 when Don Cenobio Sauza established the La Perseverancia distillery in Tequila, Jalisco. The Sauza family continued to manage the brand for several generations, contributing to its growth and reputation.
Production[edit | edit source]
Sauza Tequila is made from the blue agave plant, which is native to the region around Tequila, Jalisco. The production process involves harvesting the agave plants, cooking the piñas (the heart of the agave), extracting the juice, fermenting it, and then distilling it. Sauza Tequila is known for its smooth and crisp flavor, which is achieved through a meticulous production process.
