Sherman College of Chiropractic
Sherman College of Chiropractic is a private chiropractic college in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It was founded in 1973 and named after Dr. Lyle Sherman, a leader in the field of chiropractic. The college offers a Doctor of Chiropractic degree program and is accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Sherman College of Chiropractic was founded in 1973 by Dr. Thom Gelardi, a chiropractor who was a student of Dr. Lyle Sherman. The college was named in honor of Dr. Sherman, who was known for his dedication to the chiropractic profession and his focus on the philosophy, science, and art of chiropractic.
Academics[edit | edit source]
Sherman College offers a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree program. The program is a four-year, full-time course of study that includes both classroom instruction and clinical experience. The curriculum covers basic sciences, chiropractic technique, diagnostic studies, and patient care.
Accreditation[edit | edit source]
Sherman College is accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The CCE is the national accrediting agency for chiropractic education in the United States. The SACSCOC is the regional accrediting body for higher education institutions in the southern United States.

The Sherman College campus is located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The campus includes academic buildings, a health center, a library, and student housing.
