Military unit
The Special Service Group (Navy) (SSGN) is the special operations force of the Pakistan Navy. It is responsible for conducting a variety of special operations, including maritime counter-terrorism, direct action, special reconnaissance, and unconventional warfare.

The SSGN was established in response to the need for a specialized maritime force capable of conducting operations in the complex maritime environment. The unit has since evolved to become a critical component of Pakistan's naval capabilities.
