History[edit | edit source]
The SSGN was established in response to the need for a specialized maritime force capable of conducting operations in the complex maritime environment. The unit has since evolved to become a critical component of Pakistan's naval capabilities.

- Special Boat Service
- Underwater Demolition Team
- Naval Intelligence Unit
Training[edit | edit source]
The training regimen for the SSGN is rigorous and includes advanced courses in diving, parachuting, close-quarters combat, and explosive ordnance disposal. The unit also trains with other special forces units from around the world to maintain a high level of operational readiness.
Operations[edit | edit source]
The SSGN has been involved in numerous high-profile operations, both domestically and internationally. These operations often involve counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, and direct action missions.
Equipment[edit | edit source]
The SSGN is equipped with a variety of specialized equipment to support its operations. This includes advanced diving gear, small arms, explosives, and maritime vessels.
