Spokane Valley is a city in Spokane County, Washington, United States. It is located east of Spokane and west of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The city was officially incorporated on March 31, 2003, making it one of the newest cities in the state of Washington.

The area now known as Spokane Valley has a rich history that dates back to the early 19th century. It was originally inhabited by the Spokane Tribe, who lived along the Spokane River.
