Stannosis

Stannosis is a pneumoconiosis caused by the inhalation of tin dust. It is a benign condition, as the inhaled tin generally does not cause significant inflammatory or fibrotic reactions. However, it can be detected on radiography where it appears as small, irregular opacities.

There is no specific treatment for stannosis, as the condition is generally benign and does not cause significant lung damage. The primary management strategy is to prevent further exposure to tin dust.
