Steroidal estrogen
Steroidal estrogen - a predominantly female hormone derived from cholesterol belonging to the family of steroid hormones and is responsible for maintaining the health of reproductive tissues, breast, skin, and brain. By products of estrogen metabolism are thought to cause breast and prostate cancer.
