Swapna Barman (born 29 October 1996) is an Indian heptathlete. She is known for her achievements in the field of athletics and has represented India in various international competitions.

Swapna Barman was born in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India. She was born with six toes on each foot, a condition that posed challenges in her athletic career. Despite these challenges, she pursued her passion for sports from a young age.

Swapna Barman's career in athletics began to take shape when she started training under the guidance of her coach, Subhash Sarkar. She specializes in the heptathlon, which is a track and field combined events contest made up of seven events: 100 metres hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200 metres, long jump, javelin throw, and 800 metres.
