Taylor County is a county located in the state of Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 19,913. Its county seat is Medford. The county was created in 1875 and named after William Robert Taylor, the 12th governor of Wisconsin.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 984 square miles (2,550 km²), of which 975 square miles (2,530 km²) is land and 9.0 square miles (23 km²) (0.9%) is water.
