Texas Tech University System is a public university system in the state of Texas, United States. Established in 1996, the system is composed of four independent universities: Texas Tech University (TTU) in Lubbock, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Lubbock, Angelo State University (ASU) in San Angelo, and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso). The system is governed by a Board of Regents, with a chancellor serving as the chief executive officer overseeing the system's operations.

The newest member, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, was officially separated from TTUHSC and became an independent university within the system in 2013.
