Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso) is a public university and medical school located in El Paso, Texas. It is part of the Texas Tech University System and was established as a separate institution in 2013, having previously been a campus of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock since 1969. TTUHSC El Paso is the only health sciences center along the U.S.-Mexico border that provides a comprehensive range of health care education, research, and patient care services.

The origins of TTUHSC El Paso date back to 1969 when the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Lubbock established a regional academic health center in El Paso. Initially, the El Paso campus focused on providing third and fourth-year clinical training for medical students. Over the years, the campus expanded its academic offerings and research activities, eventually growing into a full-fledged health sciences center. In 2013, the Texas Legislature approved the establishment of TTUHSC El Paso as a separate university within the Texas Tech University System, recognizing its role in addressing the unique health care needs of the border region.

TTUHSC El Paso offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs through its three schools: the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, the Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing, and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. The Paul L.
