The Chicken Rice Shop (TCRS) is a chain restaurant that specializes in Hainanese chicken rice and other Malaysian cuisine. It was established in Malaysia in 2000 and has since expanded to various locations in Asia.

The Chicken Rice Shop was founded by Gaik Wong and her son Wong Kah Lin. The first outlet was opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in June 2000. The founders' vision was to create a food service brand that caters to the taste buds of all ages with dishes inspired by Malaysian and Hainanese cuisines.

The Chicken Rice Shop's menu primarily consists of Hainanese chicken rice, a dish adapted from early Chinese immigrants originally from the Hainan province in southern China. The menu also includes a variety of Malaysian dishes such as Nyonya Assam Fish, Curry Laksa, and Penang Rojak.

Since its establishment, The Chicken Rice Shop has expanded its operations across Malaysia and internationally. As of 2021, the chain has over 100 outlets in Malaysia and has expanded to countries such as Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.
