Trauma Center (film)
Trauma Center is a 2019 American action-thriller film directed by Matt Eskandari and written by Paul Da Silva. The film stars Bruce Willis, Nicky Whelan, and Steve Guttenberg, and follows the story of a woman who becomes trapped in a hospital while being pursued by two corrupt police officers.
Plot[edit | edit source]
The film begins with Madison Taylor (played by Nicky Whelan), who is injured during a shootout that results in the death of her friend. She is taken to a hospital for treatment, where she discovers that she is the only witness to the crime. Detective Wakes (played by Bruce Willis), a determined and honest police officer, is assigned to protect her. However, the hospital becomes a battleground when two corrupt cops, seeking to eliminate Madison to cover up their involvement in the illegal activities, attempt to kill her. Madison must rely on her wits and the help of Detective Wakes to survive the night and ensure justice is served.

Filming took place in various locations, including a decommissioned hospital, which added to the film's tense and claustrophobic atmosphere.
Release[edit | edit source]
The film was released in the United States on December 6, 2019, by Lionsgate. It received a limited theatrical release alongside a video on demand and digital release, allowing audiences to watch the film in cinemas or from the comfort of their homes.
Reception[edit | edit source]
Trauma Center received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised the performances, particularly that of Nicky Whelan, and the film's fast-paced action sequences, others criticized its predictable plot and lack of originality. Despite the mixed critical reception, the film has found an audience among fans of action thrillers and Bruce Willis.
