Tyson Foods, Inc. is an American multinational corporation based in Springdale, Arkansas. It is one of the world's largest producers and marketers of chicken, beef, and pork. Tyson Foods was established in 1935 by John W. Tyson and has grown to become a leading food company with a broad portfolio of products and brands.

John W. Tyson founded Tyson Foods during the Great Depression. The company initially began as a chicken feed business, but it quickly expanded into poultry production.
