The UCI Road World Championships are the annual world championships for road bicycle racing organized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The event consists of both men's and women's competitions, including elite, under-23, and junior categories. The championships feature several races, including the road race and the individual time trial.

The first UCI Road World Championships were held in 1921 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Initially, the event was open only to amateur cyclists, but it was later expanded to include professional cyclists.
