The Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI) is a public, specialized medical facility located in Kampala, Uganda. It is dedicated to the treatment, research, and prevention of cancer in Uganda and the East African region.

The Uganda Cancer Institute was established in 1967 as a collaboration between the Ugandan government and the National Cancer Institute of the United States. Initially, it was part of the Mulago Hospital Complex, serving as a center for cancer treatment and research.

The UCI is equipped with modern facilities to provide comprehensive cancer care. It includes outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, a radiotherapy department, and a chemotherapy unit. The institute also houses laboratories for cancer research and a pharmacy for dispensing cancer medications.
