United States Court Of Appeals For The Sixth Circuit

United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit is one of the thirteen United States courts of appeals. It is located in Cincinnati, Ohio and covers the four states of Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee. The court is presided over by a chief judge and is composed of several circuit judges.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit was established on June 16, 1891, by the Evarts Act. The court has had a rich history, with many notable judges having served on its bench, including Potter Stewart, who later served on the Supreme Court of the United States.
