University of La Frontera (Universidad de La Frontera or UFRO) is a public university located in Temuco, Chile. It was established in 1981 through the merger of the Temuco branches of the University of Chile and the State Technical University. The university is recognized for its significant contribution to higher education, research, and development in the southern region of Chile.
