The University of Sindh (Urdu: _____ ____ ) is a public research university located in Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan. Established in 1947, it is one of the oldest universities in Pakistan and is known for its academic excellence and research contributions.

The University of Sindh was founded in 1947 in Karachi, the capital of the newly independent state of Pakistan. In 1951, the university was relocated to Hyderabad, and later, in 1955, it was moved to its current location in Jamshoro.
