Unni Appam

The batter is then flavored with cardamom powder. Small portions of the batter are then deep fried in ghee until they turn golden brown.

Unni Appam is a popular snack in Kerala and is often prepared during special occasions and festivals like Onam and Vishu. It is also a common offering at Hindu temples in Kerala.
