Urban Fare is a high-end grocery store chain located in British Columbia, Canada. It is a subsidiary of the Overwaitea Food Group, which is owned by the Jim Pattison Group. The first Urban Fare location opened in 1999 in the Yaletown neighborhood of Vancouver.

Urban Fare was established in 1999 with its first store in the Yaletown neighborhood of Vancouver. The store was designed to cater to the urban dwellers of the newly revitalized neighborhood. The concept was successful and led to the opening of additional stores in other urban neighborhoods in Vancouver and other cities in British Columbia.

Store Locations[edit | edit source]

There are currently six Urban Fare locations in British Columbia. These are located in Vancouver, Kelowna, and Calgary. Each store is designed to fit into the urban environment and cater to the needs of the local community.

Products and Services[edit | edit source]

Urban Fare offers a wide range of products and services. These include a large selection of gourmet and specialty foods, a full-service deli, a bakery, a seafood counter, and a produce section. In addition to food items, Urban Fare also offers a selection of personal care products, household items, and a pharmacy.

Community Involvement[edit | edit source]

Urban Fare is actively involved in the communities where it operates. The company supports a number of local charities and community organizations. It also organizes and participates in various community events throughout the year.
