Walsh County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 10,897. Its county seat is Grafton. The county was created in 1881 and later organized in 1885. Walsh County is named in honor of George H. Walsh who was a newspaperman and politician in Grand Forks.
