Wayne, Pennsylvania is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is a part of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area and is situated along the Main Line, a series of affluent Philadelphia suburbs.

Wayne was originally named Louella, after founder J. Henry Askin's daughter. The name was later changed to Wayne, after General Anthony Wayne, a prominent figure in the American Revolutionary War. The community grew with the arrival of the Pennsylvania Railroad in the 19th century, which facilitated easy access to Philadelphia.

Wayne is located on the Main Line, a series of affluent suburbs west of Philadelphia. The community is characterized by its tree-lined streets and historic homes. It is bordered by Radnor Township to the east and Tredyffrin Township to the west.

Wayne is served by the Radnor Township School District, which includes Radnor High School, a nationally recognized school for its academic excellence. The area is also home to several private schools, including the Valley Forge Military Academy and College and The Agnes Irwin School.
