- West Bay Shore is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County, New York. It is situated on the South Shore of Long Island. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a total population of 4,648.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- West Bay Shore is located at 40°42′29″N 73°15′34″W (40.708068, -73.259627). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.2 km2), of which 1.7 square miles (4.4 km2) is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 km2), or 15.00%, is water.
