Yevgeny Nikanorovich Pavlovsky (1884–1965) was a prominent Soviet entomologist and parasitologist. He made significant contributions to the study of vector-borne diseases and the ecology of parasites.

Pavlovsky was born in 1884 in the Russian Empire. He graduated from the Imperial Military Medical Academy in Saint Petersburg in 1908. His early work focused on the study of malaria and other parasitic diseases.

Pavlovsky's career was marked by extensive field research. He conducted numerous expeditions to various parts of the Soviet Union, including Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Siberia. His work was instrumental in understanding the epidemiology of vector-borne diseases.
