Yonhap is a South Korean news agency that is the largest and most influential in the country. It provides news articles, pictures, and radio and television news broadcasts to media companies, businesses, and the public. Yonhap is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, and has 60 bureaus worldwide.

Yonhap was established on December 19, 1980, through the merger of Hapdong News Agency and Orient Press. The agency was originally known as the Yonhap Television News. It changed its name to Yonhap News Agency in March 1999.

Yonhap operates a 24-hour news network and provides a wide range of news services. These include domestic and international news, sports news, financial news, and feature stories. The agency also provides news in English and Chinese.
