5,6-MDO-MiPT, or 5,6-Methylenedioxy-N-methyl-N-isopropyltryptamine, is a synthetic compound of the tryptamine class. Tryptamines share a core structure comprised of a bicylic indole heterocycle attached at R3 to an amino group via an ethyl side chain. 5,6-MDO-MiPT is substituted at R5 and R6 of its indole heterocycle with two methylenedioxy groups CH2O2. It also contains two methyl groups CH3 bound to the terminal amine RN of its tryptamine backbone (MiPT).
