Andrea B. Apolo is an American oncologist known for her work in the field of genitourinary oncology. She is a senior investigator and head of the Bladder Cancer Section at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), where she conducts research on novel therapies for urothelial carcinoma and other genitourinary malignancies.

Andrea Apolo was born and raised in the United States. She developed an early interest in medicine and pursued her undergraduate studies at Columbia University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry. Following her undergraduate education, she attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, obtaining her MD degree.
