Andrew Baldwin
Andrew Baldwin (born February 5, 1977) is an American physician, United States Navy officer, and television personality. He is best known for his role as the bachelor on the tenth season of the reality dating show The Bachelor.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Andrew James Baldwin was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He attended Manheim Township High School, where he excelled in academics and athletics. Baldwin was a standout swimmer and earned a scholarship to attend Duke University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He later attended the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree.

After completing his medical degree, Baldwin joined the United States Navy and was commissioned as a lieutenant. He served as a Navy physician and was stationed in various locations, including Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Baldwin has been recognized for his service and has received several awards, including the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.
The Bachelor[edit | edit source]
In 2007, Baldwin was selected as the bachelor for the tenth season of The Bachelor. The show featured Baldwin as he dated multiple women in an effort to find a potential wife. The season concluded with Baldwin proposing to Tessa Horst, although the couple later ended their engagement.
Humanitarian Work[edit | edit source]
Baldwin is also known for his humanitarian efforts. He has participated in numerous medical missions and has worked with various non-profit organizations. His work has taken him to countries such as Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam, where he has provided medical care to underserved populations.
Personal Life[edit | edit source]
Baldwin is an avid athlete and has competed in numerous Ironman Triathlon events. He is also a public speaker and advocate for health and fitness.
