BIRDEM

BIRDEM (Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation in Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders) is a medical institution located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. BIRDEM was established in 1980 by the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (DAB). The institution was founded by National Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, a renowned diabetologist in Bangladesh. The hospital was initially established to provide comprehensive care to diabetic patients, but it has since expanded its services to include other endocrine and metabolic disorders.
